In our efforts to continuously improve our services and make them even more stable and safer, SiteGround will be replacing our current hosting servers with new, top-of the-line hosting machines. In line with the introduction of the latest server hardware and to make sure you can enjoy the benefits of the latest technology we use, our server administrators will transfer the following accounts: sp-website.net, currently hosted on the following server: siteground266.com to the new machines.

IMPORTANT TRANSFER INFORMATION:

*SiteGround has scheduled the transfer from your old server to the new hardware for March 14th, 2011 (Monday).
*Your websites will NOT experience downtime or data loss during the transfer. After the migration all traffic to the old server will be automatically forwarded to the new one as an extra precaution to avoid data loss during DNS propagation period.
*Our latest, high-end production machines are equipped with more powerful and reliable hardware. This will increase the quality of our services by enhancing the performance of our customers' websites in terms of both stability and speed and significantly reducing the risk of downtime.
*We strongly recommend that you do not make any changes on your sites during the transfer from 01:00AM to 06:00AM EST on March 14th 2011 in order to make sure you will not lose any modifications or updates from that period.

AFTER TRANSFER INSTRUCTIONS:

There will be a change of the IP and DNS information of your host server after the transfer. We will send the new server IP in an email after the transfer and specifically inform you what if any actions are needed on your behalf.

*For all domains registered with SiteGround and pointing to our servers, we will automatically update their DNS settings and clients will not have to take any further action.
*If you have domains registered with other registrar and pointed to SiteGround servers, you will have to manually update your DNS information with the new server IP. If you use a dedicated IP, a new one will be assigned to you and will be sent to you in our after-transfer email. In either case, you will need to update your DNS information with the new IP within 48 hours after the transfer, when the port forwarding will still be active. In the event that you have not updated the DNS settings of your account to the IP address of your new host server within that time, you may experience data loss and service interruption.

We will keep you updated when we initiate the transfer and on the progress of our work by posting regular notices in your Customer Area --> Get Support --> Server Status Check. We will also send you a confirmation email immediately after the successful completion of your account transfer.

SiteGround will make sure your accounts are transferred in the most secure and fast way. We aim to be the best and we know how to provide you with the best possible service.

For this reason, any of the subsites and the main site may have trouble loading after Monday. If this is the case, give me the time to fix it. 1:00-6:00 AM EST is also 7:00 AM-1:00 PM GMT+1, and since it's on a Monday, I'll most likely be at my internship- unable to properly fix this until I'm home. Which is kinda late. :/

I DOUBT there'll be many issues, but if there are, please be patient. :(
