"Advice?" Edward repeated. He fell silent. Really mulled over what that meant. Could he really help Ben to seduce his sister?

It didn't take long to think about it.

Hell yeah he would!

"Sam's very, very stubborn," he said, standing up from the bed and starting slowly toward the door. "Which means you'll need to be very, very persistent. Laying low and hoping it all works out probably isn't going to work."

Edward opened the door. "Now, I'm no expert on women, but I'll try and help as best I can. At the very least, I can confirm one thing: she does like you. She told me so herself just a short while ago. It took a lot of prying though. She's not going to want to come clean about it without a fight."

"Absolutely!" Lucifer said with a smile, nodding toward where the others were gathered, suggesting that they should go without saying so, as well as agreeing with Sam. "It's definitely worth a shot."

It was nice that Sam didn’t seem to think him talk about kissing her brother was ‘icky’ or something similar. Though with how much time she was spending around Ben lately, Shawn would bet kissing in general was sounding more appealing to her then if might once have.

Wondering how long it would before she was thinking of kissing someone herself, Shawn looked over to the others when Lucifer gestured that way. Taking the hint Shawn got to his feet. “Then I guess I’ll have to see if it works on Ed too.” Shawn told the too with a slight smile. He still felt a bit upset Ed had wanted to ditch him and wouldn’t say what was wrong, but he was feeling a bit better after talking to Lucifer and Sam. Mopping about it himself really wasn’t going to do any good.

“I wonder if he’s still inside the blimp with Ben or if they’ve come back out yet.” He mussed out loud as he headed back towards the others. He hoped Ed had been willing to talk to Ben and that he was in a better mood now.

Edward's silence worried Ben a little at first. If the man didn't give him advise he would have to ask his father and open up a possible can of worms should it get it. Ben was relieved when Ed spoke not long after going silent. Oh yes Sam was stubborn alright, he'd seen that more than once. But from how Ed was talking persistance was the key. He would have to keep up getting close to her at the very least.

Ben followed Ed as the man opened the door. The man confirming he wasn't an expert on women as to be expected, considering what they had just talked about. But what Ed said next made Ben stop a little and blink. Was Ed messing with him a little for admitting he liked Sam? No, not after being so serious about his own relationship 'problems'. Ben looked contemplative before he started to walk again after the man, a grin breaking out on his face as if a kid was being let loose in a sweet shop.

"Just telling me what you have is more than helpful," Ben nodded to Ed, clearly pleased. "With her being as stubborn as she is, I wouldn't expect anything less than her putting up a fight. At least I know she does like me so it's a good start."

When Miles wondered if he should go see if the boys were okay, Mattias was inclined to agree...but he didn't think Edward would react quite well to having two nosy fathers storming in there to see what was up. But then what if the situation called for two nosy fathers to storm in there and save the day? Troubling.

Sam, for her part, caught Lucifer's nod and started to head in the direction of the others. She was surprisingly okay with the turn the conversation had taken, even if contemplating Ed's love life was a little weird in that he was her brother and his love life was no one's business but his own. And Shawn's. She knew she'd be a little miffed if someone stuck their nose into her own love life...did she have a love life? She hoped so. She really hoped so.

"I don't think they're out yet," she said when Shawn wondered if Ben and Edward had come out. She wasn't too happy about that; she rather liked it better when Ben was somewhere nearby.

"If they haven't come out yet I'm sure Gabriel will send someone to get them," Lucifer said while they walked. "Maybe if you're lucky he'll send you. Though I'm not sure I'd want to be the one to interrupt him and Ben. They go pretty far back after all. They may be enjoying the privacy."

He hadn't meant for it to sound dirty or bad in any way, but it probably had come off that way.

"Honestly, I think it's less you than the way she was raised," Edward told Ben as they strolled down the hallways, continually getting closer to the door. "We found her at Circuit City, and she'd been raised by machines. They show affection and stuff differently than most other digimon. For all we know, playing hard to get could be some sort of strange robotic mating ritual leading up to the er, grinding of the girls."

Edward grinned cheekily, though his cheeks themselves were tinged red, not sure he should be joking with Ben in this way after everything that had happened.

Elise saw that Samantha and Shawn were returning along with Lucifer, and was grateful. She was beginning to worry that Kresnimon was going to show them all just how impatient he really was. As it were he had his arms folded and he was sending that trademark pissed off glare to the other angelic being.

Ben nodded as he followed after Edward towards the lobby and exit. He supposed that the man had a point. If anyone was likely to know about showing of affections and Digimon...getting together...it would be Edward. But even he didn't know if Sam was following the macine way of a relationship and Ben really didn't want to ask Sam what the deal was with that.

Ben looked to Ed as he had said the last few words and couldn't help but notice the cheeky grin and the redness in his cheeks. Edward possibly embarrassed about saying that? Who'd have thought that to be the case. Or was there something else? It wasn't like he was holding what happened between them about Ed's head or anything.

"You always did have a way with words," Ben finally chuckled to Ed, clearly not offended by how the man had said it. "I appreciate the way you said it though, makes it less of a worry on how i'm going to win Sam over!"

Shawn nodded in agreement that if they were still inside the Airship that the god likely would send someone to get them. His eyes went to the ship as Lucifer said they might be enjoying their privacy. “He better not be on his wedding day.” Shawn joked. “And I don’t think Sam would like Ben doing that to much, would you?” He asked looking over at Ed’s sister.

The fact that he felt he could tease her a little, showed how much he was feeling better. This was really the first time sense he’d rejoined the group that he’d done something like this.

Elecmon smile a little as looked up at Shawn. The young man had been a bit withdrawn since he and Ed had comeback, and at times it had worried him. He’d not really known what to do though, save to try to be around when Shawn wanted him there. He hoped this change in mood that was coming over Shawn was permanent.

Sam sort of arched an eyebrow as Lucifer said the boys might be enjoying their privacy. She didn't seem to like some of the possible implications of that statement. And then Shawn had to go and exacerbate things, teasing her a bit over it. Could he tell she'd been bothered by Lucifer's comment?

"He better not," she told Shawn flippantly. Yeah, she liked Ben. What of it? He'd figure that out soon enough; even in making the comment he'd shown he already had an inkling of how she felt for the boy. Might as well spare herself the agony of trying to keep things a secret, right? That just seemed like it'd be a waste of time. It had been hard to confess that to Edward, but things were getting easier.

There was, of course, the matter of Ben himself which was a whole different sort of awkward, but she'd handle that when the time came. She hoped, anyway.

It was good Ben wasn't offended by what he'd said. It made stepping out into the outdoors a little more bearable. It seemed everyone was lined up and ready to go. Well, almost everyone. Lucifer, Sam, and Shawn were on their way as well, but coming from the opposite direction.

Edward fiddled with his collar beneath Kresnimon's glare, as well as from the thought of having to face everyone, and Shawn in particular. It was going to be difficult indeed for the two boys to handle the objects of their affection.

"S-sorry for keeping you, Lord Gabriel," Edward said as he--quickly--descended the stairs.

"Buttering me up isn't going to do you any good," Kresnimon said, though on his face was worn a smirk. He wouldn't ever admit it, but he was mildly amused.

Lucifer chuckled a little. Wedding day, wedding day. He couldn't quite tell if this was supposed to be news to him. He was too giddy to be on such a beautiful island. Either way he was only growing more excited.

"Look, there they are!" Lucifer pointed. He couldn't quite hear what Edward wa saying, but he could hear Kresnimon quite well. It was really making him want to give him a sloppy kiss.

'There they are indeed.' Shawn thought looking over. It seemed no one would be sent to get them after all. “Lucifer, there’s something I want to talk to you about after we’ve been seen Chronomon.” Shawn said quietly as he watched Ed. “For the wedding. I’ll come find you later kay? Now though I think I’ll go see if your method of cheering people up works on Ed.”

Shawn smiled a little at Lucifer and Sam and then picked up his pace so he could get to Ed faster. When he reached his husband and Ben he looked at the two for a moment. He thought Ed didn’t seem so moody and upset now. ’Good.’ He was glad it seemed Ben had gotten him to feel better. He still did wish Ed would have talked to him though.

Placing his hand on Ed’s shoulder he gently pulled him over to him. When he was close enough Shawn leaned down and pressed his lips against Ed’s in a soft kiss. After a few moments he pulled back, “I hope you still not upset.” He whispered.


Lionessmon watched Shawn and Ed with a smile, glad that at least Shawn was no longer upset. Ed was lucky to have found a man to love like Shawn. She wasn’t so sure most would be as loving or forgiving as he was.

Alex on the other hand wasn’t smiling. She was happy to see them both in better moods now  but the public show of affection irritated her some. She was trying to be happy for them but seeing the two like that left her wondering if she’d ever have that?

Placing a hand over her stomach she looked away and sighed silently.

Ben let Edward leave the blimp first, following closely behind the man. Ed was seeming fiddly with his collar and it didn't take Ben long to track the reason as to why. He could see the Kresnimon's glare. Trust the uptight Digimon to put a little dampner on things. Of course, while Ben could be cheeky he was not about to push his luck with the god.

As Ed descended the stairs, Ben closed the door of the blimp, hearing what the man said to the god. As he turned, he saw the smirk on Kresnimon's face and heard the gods reply. Well that was something unusual. Ben didn't dawdle down the stairs, giving the god an apologetic nod for taking a while.

Ben had seen Sam with Shawn and Lucifer. As Shawn came to Ed, Ben dropped back a little, allowing the man to embrace Ed. Ben could not help but smile as he looked at the scene. He kept smiling as he walked past them towards where Sam and Lucifer were and gave a thumbs up.

"Did you guys talk to Shawn while I was with Ed?" he asked them curiously. "Cause something seems to have helped."


Miles has been pleased to see Ben come out of the blimp with Edward. He was dreading to think of what Kresnimon was say and was thankful the god had only said what he had. Still the boy had made a beeline towards Sam, again. It was sweet that they were good friends like that, or was it perhaps more?

Upon seeing the return of Ed, Ben, Shawn, Sam and Lucifer, Fang stretched. Chances were Kresnimon would want to head off now that everyone was back here. He found himself glancing around the group, his eyes setting on Alex. The girl was quiet and seemingly downcast. Well Fang assumed so, she wasn't smiling. Something wasn't right, but he didn't want to go to her and outright ask, not with Kresnimon being grumpy enough earlier. Hopefully the chance would occur for him to talk with her at some point.

The desire for Wizarmon to shout an awww to the two boys had nearly been overwhelming as Shawn had kissed Edward. But she had thought better of it since how they had left each other earlier. Instead she turned and waited for Kresnimon to decide if they were moving or not.

Shawn didn't give Lucifer much of a chance to respond after he'd spoken. He left him where he was nearby Kresnimon, and Lucifer could only watch, mildly amused, as Shawn actually went through with his advice.

Not far off, Kresnimon witnessed the kiss, and put his head in his hand, shaking it slowly. It would be pointless condemning them. Edward was notorious for being disobedient. It seemed that he'd rubbed that off onto Shawn.

Lucifer, of course, jumped on this opportunity. He sidled up beside Kresnimon, then stepped in front of him, and forcefully moved his hand and kissed him himself.

Kresnimon was surprised, not only by the kiss, but to see Lucifer in his adult form, although that had never stopped Lucifer from kissing him before. It had always made him a bit uncomfortable for his lover to do things like that in his child level. But Lucifer was persistent. Nothing could stop him when he got something into his head.

Vamdemon felt a little bit embarrassed by all the public displays of affection. Oh, he was used to enjoying the company of a loved one, but rarely in the public eye like this. It felt strange, yet he felt like he wanted it as well. It was kind of one of those infectious things.

He briefly glanced at his wife, as though he might kiss her too, but he turned away after a moment and looked around instead. What he saw disturbed him. Alex looked pretty damn uneasy. He looked around a little more. It seemed Fang had picked up on it as well. He allowed his gaze to linger on the werewolf, wondering what he was thinking of that.

Out of them all, though, Edward was probably feeling the most conflicted. His stomach had jumped around seeing Shawn come toward him so quickly. At first he thought he was in trouble, but then when he was grabbed, it was gentle, and he was given the most unexpected kiss of his life. When Shawn drew back, Edward's face had drained of color, and his whole body was trembling a little.

"I-I, no, we, I- managed to s-say what I'd wanted t-to," he stammered, staring back at Shawn, still not sure what to make of things. He licked his lips, glanced down, then back up, and managed a weak smile. "Guess this means you aren't . . . mad?"

"Oh, good," Sam said as she realized that Ben and Edward were FINALLY coming out of the ship already. She supposed whatever Ben had said had worked. That was good; now he could come back out here and pay a little more attention to her, already. She wondered if she'd have to do a few things to get and hold his attention at some point...and she had no idea what those things might be. Flirting was not her forte. Machine Digimon didn't exactly go in for that.

She watched Shawn kiss Ed and smiled; that would hopefully make things better for her brother. And oh, Ben was coming her way! Good.

...though he was addressing both her and Lucifer, sigh. "Yeah, we said a few things."

She was taking in all the kissing going around there, and she wondered what that might be like. She rather hoped she'd be able to find out sooner, rather than later.

Ben could only watch, somewhat amused by the scenes in front of him as Sam responded. It seemed she wasn't going to be forthcoming with any information, which he supposed was fair in someway. If she had asked him he wouldn't have said all that much, likely it would have been that they just talked.

He gave Sam a small nod in recognition at what she had said before looking back to the partnered Digimon and humans before him. His gaze was on Lucifer and Kresnimon, in a way Ben thought it good that the former god had distracted Kresnimon at least for the moment. His gaze fell back to Ed and Shawn. He couldn't help but smile. While he was pleased for them, he couldn't help but feel a little envious. The thoughts of how Ed looked snuck back into Ben's head, making him a little bewildered on why he was even thinking that. Thinking on it no longer, he looked back to Sam.

"Well whatever it was you guys said," he mused taking a couple of steps forward to get with the group, nodding his head that he was indicating his intentions. "It appears to have worked."

Watching the various lovers kiss made Miles feel a little envious in his own right. There was a feeling inside him, a longing for his own wife. How he missed her, his mind wandered to if she had received the letter he managed to post when back on Earth and as to if she'd done anything with it. He gave a little sigh to himself before looking towards his son. Once again he appeared to be talking with Sam, the two had become rather close as of late, but he still didn't know for certain if anything was going off between them.

“I’m not.” Shawn agreed quietly, taking in what he’d done to Ed. He’d not expected to fluster him like this. Shawn found he didn’t mind he though. “I’d been upset that I’d upset you, but not mad. But seeing the kiss worked I’m happy too now.” He said grinning a little.

Thinking about what Ed had said, Shawn turned his head for a moment so he could glance over at where Ben was standing with Sam. Ed  had said he’d told the boy the things he’d wanted too. Did that mean he’d possibly cut off Ed earlier? ’Maybe…’ Shawn thought with a inward sigh. He’d not meant too if that was what this was all about.

’At least Ed got to ask Ben whatever it had been.’ Looking back at Ed he made a gesture for the two of them to go over to the others where. “What had you talked to him about?” Shawn asked in a low voice. He wasn’t sure if Ed would tell and didn’t think he’d mind if Ed wanted to keep it between him and Ben, but felt like asking anyway.
